I am a Korean American illustrator based in Vienna, VA, with nine years of experience as a freelance digital artist at Gelsinger Licensing Group, whose images have appeared at Target, Walmart, DaySpring, and other retailers, and I also have four years of experience at Reedsy as a children’s book illustrator and designer. I use watercolor on digital woodgrain to create whimsical, dream-like illustrations, and hold an MFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design. My awards include Young Blood Illustration from Applied Art Magazine, Low Country Artist from Telfair Art fair, and Merit Awards from the 3×3 Children’s Book Show Annual and Illustration West.
My works were also featured in the COEX Winter Festival, Savannah College of Art and Design, Gelsinger Licensing Group, Grain Valley Publishing, DeepKids books, Applied Arts magazine, Rosengart Gallery Fine Art & Gifts, SCBWI Southern Breeze, Illustration West by Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, CMYK, 3×3, Creative Quarterly, What’s Up Annapolis, and so on. I worked for American Greetings, Working Class Studio SCAD, and Deep Center as an intern as well.
